“The International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (IDSDP), which takes place annually on 6 April, presents an opportunity to recognize the positive role sport and physical activity play in communities and in people’s lives across the globe”.

We, at Greencoach, believe we definitely are doing our part to underline the potential of Sport as a tool for development, as in our project we work to provide good governance in this field, enforcing environmental sustainability and promoting cohesion and cooperation among sport organization to set common standars in the area of reduction of their environmental footprint and enhancing education and awareness to responsible behaviours of athletes, staff and managers of sport organizations.
Today UN also launched a talk about the role of Sport for combating Climate Change, which adds credit to the good work we are doing on the field.
